Rachel started her yoga practice 25 years ago in Las Vegas after stumbling upon a yoga class at the gym. After a few years of practicing she found not only did it help keep her fit, but it also kept her mind steady and more focused. One of Rachel's teachers approached her suggesting that she should teach yoga. From there Rachel became a certified yoga teacher in Vinyasa Flow, Yin, and Hatha yoga. Knowing that she craved more of the yoga world; Rachel decided to join the Iyengar community at the suggestion of a friend and has never looked back. Iyengar Yoga was like coming home to the real thing. Rachel has been studying and assisting Aileen Epstein-Ignadiou for the past 4 years at the Iyengar Yoga Center. She is extremely grateful to have been under the guidance of such a devoted Iyengar teacher. Rachel also feels very blessed to be currently studying under Gloria Goldberg.
