Rachel Polednak

Rachel has been practicing Yoga for 30 years. After a few years of asana practice, she began to notice the effects it had on her mind, especially in the way it stilled the fluctuation, and she was able to focus and concentrate better. After practicing yoga for about 8 years, one of her teachers approached her and suggested she get certified and begin teaching. Rachel hopped on board and became a certified Hatha yoga teacher.
Still craving more knowledge from the world of yoga, she turned to the Iyengar Center of Las Vegas Vegas, where she got to study Aileen Epstein-Ignadiou. How blessed Rachel was to have a teacher with so much knowledge. For the past 6 years, Rachel has been studying with the Level 4 teacher and president of the Iyengar Association of the US, Gloria Goldberg. Every day is a blessing to be under her guidance in teaching and as a mentor.
Rachel holds a Level 2 certification in Iyengar yoga and helps out with the Iyengar Association of the Southwest. Feel free to join Rachel in any of her classes at Yoga Sanctuary, Power Yoga, or online via Zoom.

Adam Vitolo
Adam is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher and has been teaching the Iyengar method since 2000. Adam has been a faculty member at the Iyengar Institute of New York since 2007. He is also a member of the original faculty at PURE Yoga studios in NYC, and is the co-lead teacher of their 200hr teacher training program. In January 2009, Adam concluded a length of study with the Iyengar family at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute in Pune, India.
Adam found Iyengar Yoga as he searched for rehabilitation after he was struck by a car while cycling in 1998, and has been practicing ever since. He initially used Yoga to regain strength after the accident, but found that Yoga not only gave him the ability to strengthen his body but also laid out the framework to strengthen his mind.
Adam teaches the Iyengar Method through his own experience with clear and mindful instruction. Helping his students navigate through the body with the application of the mind; allowing them to have an experience that is full and profound. He incorporates Yogic Philosophy and humor into his teaching to help his students not take themselves too seriously, and give them the opportunity to understand that Yoga is not just a practice that takes place on the mat in class, but an opportunity to develop an internal awareness that can truly transform their life.

Adam currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors for the Iyengar Yoga Association of the Southwest.
